With more than 20 years experience with a traditional architectural practice, 1997 marked the beginning of a new architectural office with an innovative approach. The main goal is to outsource the production of technical drawings and expedite the design and development process. Time and energy are set free for maximum personal involvement of the principal.
The highest priority is given to establish client trust in all aspects of a project including design, financial procedures and technical items.

The three explicit standards for project design are: quality, time and budget.

  • To obtain a high quality it is necessary to define the project very accurately in technical specifications and drawings and throughout the realization process.
  • Time is crucial in executing a project and at times the most difficult to control. It takes good planning and a creative anticipation of problems such as weather influences, delivery problems and other cumbrances in completing a project on time.
  • Realistic and guaranteed cost estimations help contribute to an investors decision process.
From the very beginning, budgets have to be as accurate as possible in order to support feasibility and profit.

A constant awareness of these aspects results in a fast and efficient project completion; particularly of warehouses, offices and distribution facilities on both a national and international level.

The experience of Johan de Vries Architect B.V. in financial planning, cost estimations, tendering, schedule and budget control is built upon 20 years of experience in the design and building realization. An in-depth understanding of the contractor’s market guarantees an objective and sound level of advice to the principal.

A sampling of the project client list of Johan de Vries B.V. includes institutional and capital investors, municipalities, multinational corporations and national industries.

Based upon a year-long experience with logistic projects in the Netherlands and abroad the German investment company Palmira Capital Partners in Frankfurt decided to co-operate with our firm to take care of the property management of their buildings in the Netherlands as well as the contact with the users of the building.
Together with Palmira Capital Partners we also take care of the interest towards the Municipality, the contractors and installation service support.
Because of our comprehensive experience with logistic buildings the set up of maintenance budgets and plannings are a daily routine.
The portfolio in the Netherlands contains distribution centers in Rotterdam and Antwerpen.
